WOT is the name of our family orientated fresh expression of worship. It stands for Worship on Thursday and is from 3:30 - 6pm term time only.
The afternoon starts with tea/coffee and a time to chat / play
There are then games and crafts set around a theme followed by a bible story and singing
The time is finished by a time of fellowship with a homecooked meal.
Any age are welcome but under 16yrs should be accompanied by an adult whether that be parent / grandparent or carer.
The next term (Feb-April 2009) will be taking us through Lent and based on discipleship and Justice (taken from ROOTS), the topics for the next 6 weeks will link through although each week will be stand alone and culminate we hope in a big mosaic/collage cross being displayed in the chapel for holy week. There are also plans to run over into the first week of the Easter holidays with a Maundy Thursday WOT service starting at a slightly later time with the meal first and then a very family led service leading into a more traditional time of prayer.
