It was lovely to see so many people at lunch today (we served 81 meals) of pate/soup, roast turkey and trimmings followed by christmas pudding or fruit salad.
This was followed by a songs of praise carol service but due to the number of carols chosen by those at the November lunch we had to reduce the number of verses in some or we might still have been there.
Thankyou to all who helped in the preparation of the meal and in the serving and clearing up today. A generous donation to the building fund has been made and hopefully signs of improvement will follow in the new year.
